You can purchase a guardrail shorter than the length or width of your bed. Customers often use this option, for example when they have a bedside table next to the bed. However, extra caution is needed to make sure the child does not fall out of the bed through the resulting gap or get stuck in it. 

A longer guardrail than the dimensions of your bed cannot be purchased. The reason is simple — a guardrail that extended beyond the length or width of the bed could not be installed safely. Installation would be technically impossible, and the guardrail would not fit in a way that protects the child.

Unfortunately, our bed rails cannot be shortened in length. Each rail has a fixed length and cannot be adjusted.

Opening our bed rails is fairly quiet. Because of the locking mechanism, only a short click is heard. Experienced users can open and close it almost silently.

For a sloped ceiling, you first need to measure the distance between the bed and the slope. Based on this measurement, choose a guard with the appropriate height so it fits properly. If needed, you can also buy a shorter guard that will not reach the slope.
