Child and Me: Parents and children in one bed? Why not!

“It all started with our son falling out of bed in February 2020, and looking for a solution to prevent situations like that.,” begins the story told by the company owner, Monkey Mum’s Lucie Janauer. The right product was not found until a few months later. Along with it came the idea that this product could appeal to other parents on the Czech market. And so in 2020 the first bed rails arrived in the Czech Republic, and through the newly launched e-shop they were practically sold out immediately.

This unexpected demand kicked off the creation of a new company whose aim was to provide products missing for parents who prefer attachment parenting. In 2022, the company gained exclusivity for all of Europe and began producing its own goods, and obtained the Monkey MumⓇ trademark.

New showroom

At present, you no longer have to buy Monkey Mum products only from the e-shop, but you can try them out for yourself in the new showroom in Prague’s Vršovice district, Pod Stupni 1567/11. The showroom is intended for anyone who wants to try out bed rails, stair gates or new safety playpens.
