Summer is already halfway through and is making its presence well known. High temperatures are bothering both us and the children, and what better place to cool off than by the water. And when you're by the water, don't forget to collect a few pebbles—you'll need them. Painting on stones is fun, and today we'll also show you a completely simple motif suitable for the youngest children.
What will you need?
pebble
tempera paints
sponge
cotton swab
We clean the pebble with water and let it dry. We apply red paint to the sponge and coat half of the pebble. Let it dry for a moment, then put black paint on the sponge. We coat the other half of the pebble and again let it dry briefly. Then we take a cotton swab, dip it in black paint, and make dots on the ladybug. As many as you like :). If the children are impatient, you don't have to let it dry; just keep in mind that they'll get messier.
And don't worry, this isn't our last stone-painting project.
